![]() ![]() Recently a friend of mine asked me about it, and it made me feel like I owe you guys an explanation as to why I don’t mind early access on TSR when I’ve always expressed my unwillingness to use Patreon.įirst of all, you need to know that TSR added the option to give their VIP members more perks. I am taking this opportunity to talk about the new VIP early access option. ![]() And the team tries real hard to be as user friendly as possible.Īnd being a VIP member comes with many perks, and it pays the artists as well. Between paying for a CC and waiting a few seconds, the choice was easy for me.Īlso someone once said that the ads were only there to give the users viruses, I mean come on!! They are there to pay the artists who spend hours or days, even weeks sometimes working on a CC. They might be annoying but they are necessary.īefore I became an FA, I wasn’t a VIP member and had to wait for my downloads and go through the ads, but I always believed that the CC I get at the end is worth the wait. ![]() The ads and the VIP program are there to pay us artists and to maintain the site. Now that we talk on a daily basis on discord, it feels like a big family, everyone is so friendly and nice, I promise you guys, the humans behind the TSR creations and the website’s staff are some of the best people I met in the Sims community. The TSR team never forces us to do anything and when they ask for something, the site manager does it so politely, and whatever they ask from us is always optional. We artists are treated well and are well compensated and respected. You have to understand guys, that to me and my fellow artists, TSR doesn’t feel like a website for which we work but rather a platform that helps us share our CC and pays us for it. My TSR incentives are my only income and allow me to work from home, this is really convenient for me, since I had to quit my RL job because my mental health couldn’t take it anymore. TSR pays me enough money to sustain me, provided that I create enough CC of course. Every Featured Artist gets incentives for all of their creations. Maybe it’s the ads, or the VIP program, I honestly don’t know or because it was payable years ago. Now and then tho, I read negative comments about it and I frankly don’t understand the reason behind that. I have loved TSR from the moment I found out about S4CC a few years ago, and it is the reason why I became a CC creator. ![]() I don’t know if it’s clear and well structured, but it comes from my heart. Thank you for this post, I always wanted to speak about this.Īnd guys, I’m so sorry for the long post, I just wanted to share my opinion with you. It saddens me to see people are making things up like that. ^ Yep, we are 100% paid for our work, and also yeah - for some of us TSR work is our full-time job (including me, I work 50+ hour weeks sometimes to deliver content). I would like to ask people to share this post so that this awful stain on TSR can be lessened. You adjust it to your pace, your level of procrastination and your need of more or less money. It really hurts and angers me to learn of these speculations because compared to my old job TSR is heaven, where you make what you want, you post when you want. I quit my day job and I basically live from what TSR pays me, as many artists on site. I can assure anyone that all artists are payed and we even get bonuses depending on projects we do or collabs or recently early access. It has come to my attention that there are these comments flowing through Sims community how TSR is not paying their artist and all the money from VIP goes to company. ![]() ![]() ![]() You can play the game online and offline Gaming Modes.įurthermore, you can Upgrade your team by changing the Logos, Names, and Uniforms of your squads. In terms of the scenery, it is really not different. ![]() To make this effect even stronger, after you read the final page, go back and read the first page of the novel again. Steinbeck’s writing had a way of drawing me into Kino’s life, thus inciting emotions such as terror and grief as that life was slowly and sweetly destroyed by the pearl. It was alarming to witness the speed at which the young man’s life fell apart, as he clung to the dreams that the pearl reflected for him, trying to convince himself that the pearl could help him gain back happiness. It is in human nature to constantly seek more, a desire depicted beautifully through the story of Kino and his family. The ability to be content, the ability to restrain oneself in the possibility of more wealth, is incredibly difficult to gain. Yet what is it inside humans, represented by Kino, that spurs them to keep going, in pursuit of something luring and foreign that has cost them so much already? About halfway through the novella, it is already clear that Kino has lost more than what he can regain with the pearl. Violence, hatred, and deceit enter his simple life, all rooted in greed. ![]() Although alluring and happy at first, it is slowly merged with the “music of evil” as things start spiraling downward. ![]() Kino then begins to hear the “music of the pearl”. Desperate to save their baby by obtaining money to pay the doctor, Kino happens to find a great treasure in an oyster underwater. ![]() The reader can, then, perhaps catch a glimpse of the “music of the family”, a melody that flows through the harmonious landscape, a melody that constitutes Kino’s peaceful life before the pearl.Įverything begins when Kino and Juana see a scorpion crawl down into Coyotito’s hanging box. The Pearl by Nobel Prize-winning author John Steinbeck begins with one of the most picturesque, idyllic scenes in literature: a pearl diver, Kino, awaking at dawn, gazing lovingly at his wife Juana and their baby son Coyotito, listening to the sounds of the sea. ![]() ![]() ![]() The celebration is cut short, however, when Bowser ambushes and grabs all seven Sprixie Princesses in a large bottle. After the group successfully defeats Bowser, the Sprixie Princess is saved. Īfter going through six worlds, the group encounter Bowser in World Castle, where he is keeping the Red Sprixie Princess the only Sprixie Princess whom has not been saved yet. The heroes soon end up in the Sprixie Kingdom, where the journey mainly takes place. Peach, in trying to stop Bowser, falls down the pipe herself, and the others soon follow in order to assist her. The Green Sprixie Princess begins to explain that Bowser has kidnapped six of her fellow Sprixie Princesses and that she needs their help thereafter, however, Bowser emerges from the pipe and traps the princess inside a bottle before disappearing back down the pipe with her. Mario and Luigi fix the Clear Pipe with hammers and wrenches, causing the pipe to eject a large number of items as well as a Sprixie Princess, a fairy-like creature of the Sprixie species. On an evening in the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Toad come to view and enjoy the fireworks outside of Peach's Castle, when they discover a slanted Clear Pipe along the path. īowser captures the Green Sprixie Princess during the game's intro. The game introduces a smaller set of levels called Captain Toad's Adventures, which were later reused and expanded into its own standalone title and prequel, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.Īn enhanced port called Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury for the Nintendo Switch was released on February 12, 2021. Additionally, the Miiverse posts that appeared on the course select screen and when selecting courses are no longer present. It included Miiverse integration through collectible stamps that could be used in Miiverse posts, and the Ghost Mii functionality that emulates players replaying levels for other players to view however, the service was terminated on November 7, 2017, meaning that stamps can be collected, but not used. Various new power-ups are introduced in this title, with the trademark suit being the Cat power-up, which enables characters to perform a melee attack, climb up walls, and leap while midair, as well as the game generally having a cat-based theme. ![]() The game makes use of several Wii U exclusive features, such as tapping blocks with the touch screen on the GamePad and blowing into the mic to reveal hidden items and blow away enemies. Players can select their character from a pool of playable characters prior to starting the game each of these characters have their own unique playstyle that gives them advantages and disadvantages over other characters. One key aspect introduced in this title is the simultaneous multiplayer: while not the first game in the series to do so, it is the first 3D title in the Mario series to incorporate up to four players cooperating with each other to reach the goal. The game's plot centers around Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Toad having to rescue the rulers of the Sprixie Kingdom, the Sprixie Princesses from Bowser. The game builds upon the previous installment, following a similar 3D level-design convention inspired from the 2D platformer titles where players must navigate through a linear-designed level within a time limit to reach a level's Goal Pole. It is the direct sequel to the 2011 Nintendo 3DS installment Super Mario 3D Land, the fifteenth title in the Super Mario series, the seventh 3D Mario title overall, and the fifth 3D Mario title on a home console after Super Mario Galaxy 2. Super Mario 3D World is a 3D platformer action game for the Wii U, released in November 2013. ![]() ![]()
![]() If I have a particular API call that I want to look at (perhaps based on behavioral analysis), you can type that in the Filter box, just like you can type the API call name in the IDA imports window, so that's good. If I want to search through all of them, that requires clicking the + next to 'Imports' and then the + next to each of the DLLs. In Ghidra, the imports are all listed under the DLL from which they are imported. In IDA, that means going to the imports tab where all of the imports are listed together. In my normal workflow in IDA, I'll often begin by looking at the imports. But this also led to some confusion on one of the first samples I looked at in Ghidra. If you click on an instruction in one, it highlights the corresponding code in the other in yellow. When you are looking at code within a function in the disassembler, you'll see the corresponding decompiled code right next to it. ![]() The way the user interface in the Ghidra CodeBrowser works by default, in the center of the screen you have the disassembler window and immediately to the right of that is the decompiler window. One place decompiling is extremely useful for, is showing the parameters to function calls (especially Windows API calls) in a way that isn't as tedious (and potentially error prone) as scrolling up and counting the PUSH instructions (cdecl or stdcall) or trying to trace the contents of certain registers (fastcall). Having said that, for someone like me who has been programming on-and-off for a very long time, I can usually grasp the purpose of a function much more quickly in a (pseudo-)high level language than I can in assembler. A lot of context is lost during optimization, so except for very simple programs you shouldn't expect the decompiler to give you C code that looks like the original source. ![]() As I explain to my FOR610 students, decompiling is a hard problem. ![]() I have to say, so far, I'm pretty impressed. I've long been a user of the Hex-Rays decompiler at $dayjob and I really like it, but I can't afford it for use in my personal/Storm Center research and we don't use it in FOR610, so I was really looking forward to giving the Ghidra one a try. In particular, I'll look at one particular option that turned out to be more useful than I originally thought, though I'm still not entirely certain how I'll use it going forward. So, in this entry in the series, I'll start to delve into that some. As I continue to explore NSA's new reversing tool, Ghidra, one of the features that I heard about and was excited to see in action was the decompiler. ![]() ![]() ![]() Travel across fields, through forests and to mountain peaks as you discover what has become of the ruined kingdom of Hyrule in this stunning open-air adventure. ![]() Step into a world of discovery, exploration and adventure in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
